Tree Hut Morrocan Rose Body Scrub

Tree Hut Morrocan Rose Body Scrub Review

Body scrubs are a skincare essential for achieving smooth, radiant skin, especially during colder months when dryness and flakiness are more common. Among the many scrubs available, Tree Hut is all over social media for its affordable yet luxurious body care products that combine effective, natural ingredients with indulgent scents, delivering spa-like results at home.

Last time, I reviewed the Beauty of Joseon Deep Glow Serum (Rice + Alpha Arbutin), which brought a subtle glow and hydration to my sensitive skin. This time, I’ve turned my focus to body care with a review of Tree Hut Moroccan Rose Shea Sugar Scrub, a product that stands out for its luxurious feel, elegant fragrance, and affordable price point. After incorporating it into my routine for several weeks, here is my honest review.

Why I Tried It?

Exfoliation is one of the most important steps in my skincare routine, especially for the body. As someone with dry patches on my elbows, knees, and legs, I’m always on the lookout for a scrub that can effectively buff away dead skin while nourishing and hydrating at the same time. The main aspect important for me is the delicious smell and not too-rough hydrating texture.

I had heard a lot about Tree Hut scrubs. I saw it on TikTok, famous beauty YouTubers video hauls, etc. I have picked the Moroccan Rose scent particularly because I found it for a good price and discount. Also, the floral fragrance sounded like my vibe combined with the promise of silky-smooth skin, was enough to convince me to give it a try.

First Impressions. Scent and Texture

Texture of Tree Hut Body Scrub

The moment I opened the jar, I was greeted with the Moroccan Rose scent—a beautiful floral fragrance that’s fresh, elegant, and relaxing. I could smell the rose and amber notes.

Tree Hut Body Scrub Morrocan Rose texture

The scrub itself has a gritty texture with visible sugar granules suspended in a creamy, oil-rich base. It’s easy to scoop out and apply, and the sugar granules dissolve slightly as you massage them into the skin, offering a satisfying level of exfoliation.

The texture was perfect for me because it was not too thick nor too runny. My body skin is kinda sensitive but not as sensitive as my facial skin, so this scrub has worked for me perfectly and was not too rough due to its hydrating formula.

After a Few Weeks of Use

After several weeks of using the Tree Hut Moroccan Rose Shea Sugar Scrub 2 times a week, here’s what I’ve noticed:

  • Improved Skin Texture. My elbows, knees, and heels are noticeably smoother, and dry patches have significantly reduced.
  • Prepped Skin for Shaving. The scrub has been amazing for prepping my legs before shaving, reducing irritation, and helping prevent ingrown hairs. The shaving oil from Tree Hut is on my wishlist.
  • Long-Lasting Hydration. The oils and shea butter leave my skin feeling moisturized.  After rinsing, my skin feels incredibly smooth and soft.
  • Subtle Glow. My skin looks healthier and more radiant, with a noticeable glow after each use.
  • Lingering Scent. The Moroccan Rose fragrance lingers subtly on my skin, adding a touch of luxury to my day. Also, Tree Hut has a line of body butter with a similar smell to body scrubs. I would love to try it because I absolutely love the Moroccan Rose smell. I have noticed that the smell after using this scrub lasts more than a few hours.

The Pros

  • Effective Exfoliation. Buffs away dead skin cells without being overly harsh.
  • Hydration. Leaves skin feeling soft and moisturized, thanks to the rich oils and shea butter.
  • Beautiful Scent. The Moroccan Rose fragrance is fresh, floral, and spa-like.
  • Affordable Luxury. High-quality product at a budget-friendly price.
  • Clean Formula. Free from parabens and sulfates, and cruelty-free.

The Cons

  • Not for Facial Use. The granules are too coarse for the delicate skin on your face. Although, Tree Hut has a line of face scrubs.
  • Tub Packaging. While convenient for scooping, water can accidentally get inside the jar, which may dilute the product over time.
  • The price. Even if the price is kinda affordable, there are still cheaper options on the market. I have almost finished my tub after using it for two months.

Rating: 4.7/5

Would I recommend it? Absolutely. Whether you’re looking to banish dry skin, prep for shaving, or simply indulge in a luxurious self-care moment, this scrub is a perfect choice. I am looking forward to trying different scents such as Vanilla, Strawberry, Pineapple, Mango, Candy Cane, and so on. Also, Tree Hut has other attractive products besides body scrubs. There are facial scrubs, body lotions and butters, shower gels, lip butters, and even shaving oils. It is worth mentioning that this time of the year Tree Hut has special limited edition scents in their collection. I even think it would be the perfect gift idea for your girlfriend, best friend, wife, mom, or other woman in your life for Christmas.
